Cancellation and Refund Policy.
I understand that plans sometimes change. The following cancellation policy applies to courses, programmes, workshops and individual services booked through ANGELA HARRISON.
Your statutory right to cancel
If you are purchasing as a consumer online, by telephone or otherwise at a distance, you will normally have the legal right to cancel your booking within 14 days of making the purchase, without giving a reason.
If you ask for a service, session, course or programme to begin during this 14-day cancellation period, you may be asked to confirm that you wish the service to begin before the cancellation period has ended.
If you subsequently cancel after the service has begun, you may be required to pay a reasonable and proportionate amount for any part of the service already provided.
Where a service has been fully provided during the 14-day cancellation period at your express request, your statutory right to cancel may end once the service has been completed.
Nothing in this policy affects your statutory consumer rights.
Courses, programmes and workshops
Once any applicable statutory cancellation period has passed, the following cancellation terms apply:
More than 7 days before the programme begins: you may cancel your place and receive a refund, less any non-refundable payment processing or transaction costs actually incurred by ANGELA HARRISON in taking and refunding your payment.
Within 7 days of the programme beginning: 50% of the programme fee will be refunded.
Within 24 hours of the programme beginning, or after the programme has started: no refund will normally be available.
Payment processing costs will only be deducted where those costs have actually been incurred and cannot be recovered by ANGELA HARRISON from the payment provider.
These charges are intended only to recover costs directly arising from the cancellation and are not an additional cancellation penalty.
Individual appointments and sessions
Individual sessions may be cancelled or rescheduled without charge by giving at least 24 hours' notice.
Where less than 24 hours' notice is given, or you do not attend a booked appointment, the session fee is non-refundable except where exceptional circumstances apply.
How to cancel
To cancel a booking, please email angela@angelaharrison.uk and include your name and details of the course, programme or service you have booked.
Where a refund is due, it will be returned using the original method of payment unless otherwise agreed.
Participation and termination
I aim to create a respectful and safe environment for everyone taking part in my courses and programmes.
In exceptional circumstances, I reserve the right to end a participant's involvement where there has been a serious or repeated breach of the Terms & Conditions, behaviour that threatens the safety or wellbeing of others, harassment, abusive behaviour, or serious disruption to the programme.
Where participation is terminated for these reasons, any decision regarding a refund for the remaining programme will take account of the circumstances, services already provided and applicable consumer law.
Cancellation or changes by ANGELA HARRISON
Every reasonable effort will be made to provide courses, programmes, sessions and workshops as advertised.
Occasionally, circumstances outside my reasonable control may make it necessary to change a date, time, venue, facilitator or other aspect of a programme.
If I need to cancel a programme entirely and cannot offer a suitable alternative, you will receive a full refund of the amount you have paid for the cancelled programme or service.
If a programme has already begun and I am unable to provide the remaining sessions, you will be offered an appropriate alternative or a refund for the part of the programme that has not been provided.
I cannot normally reimburse additional costs you may have incurred in connection with attending a programme, such as travel or accommodation, except where required by law.
Your consumer rights
Nothing in this Cancellation and Refund Policy excludes or limits any rights you have under UK consumer law, including your rights under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 and the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
