be more you
from personality to individuality
Personality is not the same as individuality. Personality is shaped through your experience - your family, relationships, education, successes, failures, and all the ways you learned to find your place in the world.
It serves you well… Until it doesn’t. There comes a point when knowing how to get on well in the world isn’t enough….
You might be highly capable, self-aware and successful in many areas of life… and still certain situations have the power to throw you off completely - a relationship, a criticism, a difficult decision, a huge disappointment - and you’re wide awake at 3am, wrestling with feelings that seem to come from out of nowhere.
Beyond everything you learned to be, is something far greater - Your own intelligence, your own rhythm, your own way of seeing, creating, loving and living. In this course you’ll explore the you that emerges when you are free from the grip of other people’s opinions, expectations and ideas about who you should be. You’ll explore your own individuality.
Individuality is freedom. The freedom to be more you….
- To know what is true for you, to remain true to yourself even when something difficult happens, rather than being pulled in ten different directions by doubt, fear, expectation and the endless commentary in your head, you get clarity in your own mind so you know what to do.
-
Maybe you would make an important decision and not spending the next week questioning it. Maybe you’ll hearing somebody else’s opinion without immediately losing confidence in your own.
Maybe you’ say yes because you genuinely want to, and not because somebody might be disappointed if you don’t. And maybe you’d stop allowing relationship conflicts to create wounds that takes weeks, even months, to heal.
Maybe you’d know when the voice in your head is offering solid advice, rather than swayed by fear or trying to keep everything safely under control.
Or simply having more freedom to follow the things that make you feel alive, even when others don’t get it or are outright against it.
These are the possibilities at the heart of Inner Alchemy.
-
The thing about personality is that it’s very convincing. Often its fears sound like pure common sense, loyalty feels like love, the need for approval masquerades as being considerate… I could go on…
… That's what you'll learn to see, here - and not by analysing every inch of your past, but by exploring what is alive in you right now.
The patterns we’ve adopted have been around for years and most of the time we’re not even aware we are living from them. You can be one week into a full-blown triggered emotional collapse before you even realise what has happened.
Inner Alchemy offers an easy way of becoming more you - the original, creative you - beyond your conditioning.
No need for years of therapy - the past lives in every reaction: a relationship that gets on your nerves, a choice you can’t make, something you desperately want but can’t have. These are the ordinary entry points we’ll use to uncover something far deeper and expansive in yourself.
-
If thinking harder solved everything, most of us would have had everything sorted years ago. The mind is brilliant - but it isn’t the whole story. There is a greater wisdom than mind alone.
- Your body responds to life before your mind has even found the words. Emotions tell you when something really matters. Intuition can pick up on something that logic can’t grasp - tell me, why is that?
And all these parts of you might say completely different things…
the mind says yes but the body says no - should I stay?
the heart says yes but the mind says no - should I leave?
the body says yes but the mind says no - arghhhh…
Inner Alchemy is about bringing all these different aspects of yourself back into balance - the mind, body and spirit - through your direct experience.
Here you’ll discover what new insights become available when you pay attention to Now, rather than tripping off the endless dialogue that takes place in your head.
-
This is about Agency, experiencing yourself as having full autonomy and influence over your life.
Most of the time we say, “This happened to me, therefore I am this.”In this course we examine “This happened to me. It shapes certain responses in me. I can become conscious of those responses. And now I have choice.”
That’s different to positive thinking it doesn’t deny trauma - it includes it all…. yet doesn’t allow the past to rule you..
That is what awareness gives you. To know what you think and have the confidence to say it. To know when something feels right for you and when it doesn’t. To make decisions without being constantly pulled around by fear, approval, other people’s expectations or the need to keep everyone happy.
It means stronger boundaries, more confidence in your own judgement and less energy wasted second-guessing or criticising yourself.
It means not losing yourself in a relationship, disagreeing without feeling guilty or scared of the consequence, and being more able to recognise when an emotional trigger is fogging up your brain.
What’s in it for you?
the weekly programme
Seven core insights. Three dimensions of experience; mind, body and spirit. One journey back to yourself.
Week 1: Beginning with Awareness
Before we begin exploring ourselves, we look at the ground of the course: awareness. We explore the difference between analysing ourselves and actually noticing ourselves, how meditation changes the way we meet our inner experience, and how the course will use imagery and experiential enquiry as mirrors rather than answers.
Week 2: The Ground We Begin From
We begin by noticing what is already here: the mind we think through, the body we live through and the deeper sense of being beneath both. Rather than trying to change anything, this week is about recognising our starting point — the patterns, tendencies and inner landscape from which we meet life.
Week 3: What Moves Us
Not everything within us is immediately visible. This week we explore what draws things out of us — desire, intuition, emotion, imagination, attraction, resistance and the deeper impulses that stir beneath conscious thought. We begin noticing what brings our inner world to life and what we tend to follow, suppress or mistrust.
Week 4: What Life Brings Us
Life is constantly touching us: through relationships, disappointments, opportunities, conflict, pleasure, loss and change. This week explores what activates us and how the same situation can become repetition, suffering, insight or growth depending on how consciously we meet it.
Week 5: What We Make of What Happens
When an event happens, something very personal happens inside us. Then we interpret it, feel it, embody it until it becomes woven into what we believe about ourselves and life. This week explores how experience is formed through mind, body and spirit, and how greater awareness can give us a little more freedom in what we carry forward.
Week 6: The Self I Have Come to Know
By now certain patterns begin to become recognisable. This week turns towards the identity that has formed around them: the person I believe myself to be, the roles I have learned to occupy and the qualities I readily claim or reject in myself. We explore personality without making it wrong, while becoming curious about what remains when we are no longer completely identified with it.
Week 7: When Something Truly Changes
Real transformation happens when we can finally see an old pattern without automatically embodying it. This week explores the moments where awareness creates another possibility, where something can be released, integrated, chosen differently or simply no longer needs to run the show.
Week 8: Living From What We Know
The final insight brings everything back into life. What does awareness look like in a relationship, a difficult conversation, a decision, sexuality, work, creativity or an ordinary Tuesday afternoon? We explore what changes when mind, body and spirit are less divided and we begin responding more from ourselves rather than from conditioning.
Week 9: Seeing Your Own Pattern
Now that all seven insights have been experienced, you begin to see the larger picture of who you are. Where does the mind tend to take over? Where is the body ignored or trusted? Where is there a deeper knowing that is calling to be heard — or when is it overridden? This is about recognising your own particular pattern without reducing yourself to a personality type.
Week 10: From Personality to Individuality
The final meeting is integration rather than another lesson. We look back at what you have discovered, what has genuinely shifted and what you are beginning to trust in yourself. The emphasis is not on leaving with twenty-one new concepts, but on leaving with a more intimate relationship with their own inner experience and a way of continuing the enquiry in everyday life.
about the course
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
-
Inner Alchemy is a personal development course using OSHO Zen Tarot, meditation and experiential exercises to support self-awareness, integration and greater freedom from habitual patterns.
-
Not in the traditional sense.
Inner Alchemy uses OSHO Zen Tarot as a tool for self-awareness and integration. The course helps you recognise the different aspects of yourself, bring the thinking mind back into balance with feeling, intuition, body and presence, and become less identified with your thoughts. The aim is not self-improvement, but becoming more fully yourself.
-
OSHO Zen Tarot helps bring unconscious patterns, inner conflicts and many neglected qualities into awareness. The images give you something immediate and personal to explore experientially rather than intellectually, helping you to uncover more of who you really are, beneath the noise of the thinking mind.
You see… this is not a conventional Tarot deck. These cards are not about predicting the future or words of wisdom that spiritually bypass the painful parts of life.
They carve out a pathway that we can use to experience yourself as you are, and uncover hidden qualities, conflicts and possibilities that open to you as you become more aware.
It’s not about learning the cards, it’s about experiencing the teachings that they mirror.
-
No. You do not need any knowledge of Tarot or OSHO Zen Tarot before joining. The emphasis is on your own response to the cards rather than memorising traditional meanings.
This course is however the foundation course for the OSHO Zen Tarot Training should you wish to dive deeper into the art of supporting others in their personal growth and offering professional OSHO Zen Tarot readings.
-
No. You do not need any experience in meditation.
The course uses meditation in a more practical way of becoming more aware of what is happening inside you, rather than as something you have to perform perfectly.
You will learn to notice thoughts, emotions, body sensations and reactions with more space around them, as they happen in real-time. Sometimes practices are quiet, while others may include movement, breathing or active expression.
-
No. The aim is not to create a better or more acceptable version of yourself. It is to become more aware of conditioning and habitual identities so that more of your natural qualities can be lived and expressed. It’s about learning to love who you are and becoming more free to be fully yourself.
-
Inner Alchemy is for people who are interested in meditation, self-awareness and personal growth and are willing to look inward. It is particularly suited to people who want to understand themselves experientially rather than only through analysis or talking.
-
There is depth here, but inner work doesn’t need to be unbearably serious. You’ll be guided through self-explorations, meditation, and practical exercises. You’ll notice what happens in the body, question some very convincing stories that play out in your head and hopefully laugh at yourself more than once.
Some things may touch something tender. Others may feel liberating almost immediately. The key is that you don’t have to resolve your entire past or transform every pattern you have before something worthwhile happens. One clear insight can change the way you see life forever afterwards.
The course is simple: To know yourself well enough that you can recognise when you are living from personality - and find your way back to your own individuality whenever you need to.
-
Not all your problems will be solved.
Maybe the obsession with constantly analysing yourself will ease off. Perhaps you trust your own decisions more. Perhaps you notice more quickly when somebody else’s wants or expectations have become louder than your own voice.
You might begin to recognise an old reaction pattern before it takes over the entire week, month or even year. Or become clearer about what you genuinely want… rather than what you think you ought to want.
You might find yourself saying no without writing a three-page internal defence dialogue of why you are allowed to, or begin to feel more present with your own choices - by letting go of what no longer fits, trying on what does, and allowing more you to take part in the life you are already living and less like somebody trying to get life right.
Inner Alchemy isn’t about getting rid of your personality.
You need one, and it’s good to love it too. But this is about recognising where the person you learned to be, is overshadowing the unique person that you actually are. It’s about learning to discern the voices in your head and say yes to the one that is actually you.
It’s about seeing the old conditioning, without judging it and without being ruled by it. Learning to listen beyond the noise and discovering what life feels like when your choices come from a place that is genuinely your own.
Less energy spent on trying to be better. More freedom to live as who you are.
