Love without losing yourself
Relationship Alchemy
Love can open us in the most beautiful ways… and yet… even when we love someone we can still struggle when their needs, wants, or choices start to differ from our own.
When they pull away, or get too close, or touch something in us that we don’t even fully understand - our reactions can be intense. You might suddenly go off the rails, or collapse into a pit of self-doubt. You might try to keep the peace, prove your point, rescue the other, or even protect yourselves by closing down completely.
None of that necessarily means the relationship is wrong - but these reactions are clues that something important is happening within you.
Relationship Alchemy is an experiential course that helps you to understand what happens within you when conflicts arise. Through guided enquiry, awareness practices and experiential exercises, you’ll explore the emotional and relational patterns that shape the way you love, react and communicate, and in doing so, you learn how you can respond with greater truth, freedom and choice - and all without hurting the other.
-
Relationships bring us face to face with ourselves. They show us when we feel secure and where we become afraid. They show us what happens when we don’t feel seen or understood, and expose hidden expectations, our defences, our longing, our fears.
When someone you love says no, withdraws, criticises you or wants something you don’t want, your internal reactions can be quite overwhelming or confusing. Your body might tighten and the mind starts creating a story… and before you know it, you’re arguing about something on the surface, while in reality something much deeper - and older - is bubbling underneath.
This course helps you slow this process down and examine the deeper layers beneath your reactions. You learn to recognise your patterns in real-time… and most importantly, what helps to come out of them, so that you can respond with more presence and clear boundaries.
-
This is not a course about learning the “right” way to communicate or becoming endlessly calm and accommodating. It is an experiential exploration of what happens inside you when you get activated by another person, and unhooking from the drama. So what happens to you?
Do you abandon yourself to hold on to the love? Do you fight against the other person in an attempt to assert your rights or freedom? Do you get caught up in compromise, blame, or resentment?
This course offers you a safe space to feel what is true for you, to hear your own voice above the noise of what’s coming at you, and learn how to remain connected to yourself when even when the relationships gets ‘complicated’.
You’ll examine the dynamics of relating - whether a partner, a parent, friend or your boss - you’ll learn to pause, feel the body, distinguish a triggered reaction from a deeper truth within you, and express yourself, without attacking, collapsing or disappearing.
The aim is not to remove or resolve conflict, but to help you meet it without losing yourself.
-
❋ Coming back to yourself
How early relationships with parents, carers and authority figures continue to shape your responses today. The different forms of emotional expression and how to remain present and connected when strong emotions are activated. You’ll be able to notice when an old pattern has taken over and what helps you return and to you and not get lost in the other.
❋ Coming out of drama
Recognise projection, resistance, desire and the roles people unconsciously adopt in relationships. Explore the five states of adult relating and see more clearly what helps to create more connection, when compromising is not helping, and what eases conflict in your own relationship - be that with a romantic partner, parent, friend, or work colleague.
❋ Stepping in to dharma
You’ll explore your inner masculine and feminine qualities, how they relate within you, and what happens when one becomes dominant while the other is pushed aside. You’ll discover how greater inner balance can support your relationships, your creativity and ability to follow your own direction in life.
-
You won’t get conventional relationship advice - like whether to stay, leave, forgive, compromise or try harder. Advice given from outside can never replace the clarity that comes from understanding what is happening within you. In fact, it adds to the confusion and creates even more distance from connecting to your own truth.
Relationship Alchemy helps you to move from your own inner truth by supporting you to integrate those old wounds or beliefs that keep getting in the way.
Sometimes this creates renewed intimacy in a relationship. Sometimes it means creating and asserting a new healthier boundary. Sometimes it reveals that a relationship may be coming to a natural end.
The purpose is not to “heal” a relationship at any cost, but to help you relate without betraying yourself, and that in itself affects a positive shift.

This course may be for you if…
❋ You become emotionally overwhelmed or lose touch with yourself during conflict.
❋ You lose your voice, boundaries or sense of self in close relationships.
❋ You understand what is happening intellectually, but struggle to respond differently in the moment
❋ You are unsure whether you need to fix or change or end a difficult relationship.
❋ You want more honesty and depth without endless drama.
❋ You are willing to look inward rather than focusing only on what the other person is doing wrong.
-
Although the course explores real emotions and meaningful parts of your life, it is not a course of relentlessly digging through wounds.
There is space for honesty, depth and vulnerability, but also for playfulness, movement, laughter and the relief of recognising that we all fall prey to our relationship patterns. Learning to go easy on yourself is an important part of the journey of healing. In fact, reconnecting to joy is the most important of all.
When we can see a reaction without immediately judging or shaming ourselves, something begins to loosen and when we become more curious, more compassionate and can even smile at ourselves - then a good shift has taken place.
In one short course, we will not unravel every layer of your history, nor do we need to. Developing greater awareness and exploring the foundations of healthier boundaries is a huge step on the path toward conscious love.
Come join us!
Your relationships can be your greatest source of love, joy and support… but they can also become your greatest source of pain and the place where you feel most hurt and confused. When an important relationship begins to fray at the edges, we don’t only fear losing the person, we fear losing our source of belonging, comfort and reassurance, at exactly the moment we need those things the most.
Learning to relate in a healthy way matters.
You may not leave with every relationship neatly fixed - but it will help you see yourself, and the people you love, with far greater clarity. And once something is truly seen, it is difficult to be completely unconscious of it again.
A few days can open a new way of seeing that stays with you for the rest of your life.

“Drama” describes the unconscious patterns, needs and expectations that can drive relationships.
“Dharma” means living from the truth and fullness of your own being, so relationship becomes an expression of that fullness rather than an attempt to complete yourself.
-
No. Relationship patterns exist whether you are currently partnered or not.
The course can help you explore past relationships, family patterns, attraction, conflict, boundaries, expectations and the way you relate to yourself as well as to others.
-
No. Relationship Alchemy is a personal development course rather than couples therapy.
The focus is on becoming more aware of your own patterns and participation in relationship dynamics. You do not need a partner to take part, and your partner does not need to change for you to begin working differently with your own patterns.
-
You will explore early relationship patterns, emotional triggers, projection, unconscious roles and expectations, and the five typical stages of adult relating.
You will also explore inner masculine and feminine qualities and how imbalance or projection within ourselves can influence attraction, conflict and dependency.
The aim is to recognise these dynamics as they happen, remain connected to yourself, and respond with greater awareness, truth and choice.
-
Many relationship reactions are shaped by unconscious beliefs, emotional conditioning and strategies learned earlier in life.
Until those patterns become conscious, we can repeatedly find ourselves responding in familiar ways — even with very different partners. Relationship Alchemy helps you recognise those patterns as they happen, giving you more choice in how you respond and more skill in processing the hurt you feel.
-
You cannot control another person, but you can change the way you participate in the relationship.
When you become more aware of your own reactions, expectations, boundaries and automatic roles, the dynamic between you can begin to change. Sometimes this creates more connection; at other times it brings greater clarity about what is and is not possible in the relationship.
-
Yes. You can repeat whenever you feel there is something more to work through in your relating.
However, most people who want to go deeper choose to move on to the trainings in Inner Alchemy and Relationship Alchemy, which develops counselling techniques in supporting others professionally, whilst still working on oneself.
