From Personality to Individuality

Stop second-guessing yourself and learn to trust what you already know. An experiential personal growth course using the OSHO® Zen Tarot to explore the patterns behind self-doubt, comparison and difficult decisions — and discover what becomes possible when you begin living more from your true self.

from personality to individuality

You may already know the OSHO Zen Tarot well.

Maybe you use the cards for inspiration.

Maybe you have worked with them for years.

Or perhaps you were drawn to them… and now they sit doing mostly nothing on a shelf.

If you do know these cards, you’ll know that they are unmistakably different. They don’t shy away from confronting the shadow side of our nature, and they are remarkably good at exposing a situation that the thinking mind would rather avoid.

If you don’t know them… go get a deck and you’ll see how unlike they are to any other deck out there. They offer honest reflections of our reality rather than easy spiritual affirmations, whilst not ignoring the most powerful and overlooked aspects of our true nature. And this is why they are such a powerful tool for personal growth.

Inner Alchemy™ is not a course about learning the tarot cards, this is not a traditional Tarot course, because this isn’t a traditional deck. This is a structured exploration of the Self, using the OSHO Zen Tarot as a mirror into the patterns, qualities and inner conflicts that are shaping the way you live today.

The question underneath is simple:

How much of your life are you actually living from yourself, and how much is being directed by old patterns, fears, expectations and the endless activity of the thinking mind?

What’s in it for you?

the weekly programme

Seven core insights. Three dimensions of experience; mind, body and spirit. One journey back to yourself.

Week 1: Beginning with Awareness

Before we begin exploring ourselves, we look at the ground of the course: awareness. We explore the difference between analysing ourselves and actually noticing ourselves, how meditation changes the way we meet our inner experience, and how the course will use imagery and experiential enquiry as mirrors rather than answers.

Week 2: The Ground We Begin From

We begin by noticing what is already here: the mind we think through, the body we live through and the deeper sense of being beneath both. Rather than trying to change anything, this week is about recognising our starting point — the patterns, tendencies and inner landscape from which we meet life.

What is here when I simply notice myself?

Week 3: What Moves Us

Not everything within us is immediately visible. This week we explore what draws things out of us — desire, intuition, emotion, imagination, attraction, resistance and the deeper impulses that stir beneath conscious thought. We begin noticing what brings our inner world to life and what we tend to follow, suppress or mistrust.

What is trying to emerge in me?

Week 4: What Life Brings Us

Life is constantly touching us: through relationships, disappointments, opportunities, conflict, pleasure, loss and change. This week explores what activates us and how the same situation can become repetition, suffering, insight or growth depending on how consciously we meet it.

What happens in me when life touches something sensitive?

Week 5: What We Make of What Happens

When an event happens, something very personal happens inside us. Then we interpret it, feel it, embody it until it becomes woven into what we believe about ourselves and life. This week explores how experience is formed through mind, body and spirit, and how greater awareness can give us a little more freedom in what we carry forward.

What am I making this experience mean?

Week 6: The Self I Have Come to Know

By now certain patterns begin to become recognisable. This week turns towards the identity that has formed around them: the person I believe myself to be, the roles I have learned to occupy and the qualities I readily claim or reject in myself. We explore personality, while becoming curious about what remains when we are no longer completely identified with it.

Who have I learned to be, and is that the whole of me?

Week 7: When Something Truly Changes

Real transformation happens when we can finally see an old pattern without automatically embodying it. This week explores the moments where awareness creates another possibility, where something can be released, integrated, chosen differently or simply no longer needs to run the show.

What becomes possible when I am no longer completely identified with the old response?

Week 8: Living From What We Know

The final insight brings everything back into life. What does awareness look like in a relationship, a difficult conversation, a decision, sexuality, work, creativity or an ordinary Tuesday afternoon? We explore what changes when mind, body and spirit are less divided and we begin responding more from ourselves rather than from conditioning.

How do I live what I have discovered?

Week 9: Seeing Your Own Pattern

Now that all seven insights have been experienced, you begin to see the larger picture of who you are. Where does the mind tend to take over? Where is the body ignored or trusted? Where is there a deeper knowing that is calling to be heard — or when is it overridden? This is about recognising your own particular pattern without reducing yourself to a personality type.

Week 10: From Personality to Individuality

The final meeting is integration rather than another lesson. We look back at what you have discovered, what has genuinely shifted and what you are beginning to trust in yourself. The emphasis is not on leaving with twenty-one new concepts, but on leaving with a more intimate relationship with their own inner experience and a way of continuing the enquiry in everyday life.

Frequently Asked Questions

If you already own the OSHO Zen Tarot, this course may completely change the way you understand what the deck is capable of. And if you are new to it, you don’t need any previous Tarot knowledge, just a willingness to use the cards as a doorway into your understanding your own experience in life and in your inner world.

Inner Alchemy™ is not about getting rid of your personality. It is about embracing your own unique individuality. The OSHO Zen Tarot gives us a powerful way into that exploration because each card guides us to that very spot, revealing different ways of seeing, responding, feeling, creating and being.

The course gives you the space to explore those possibilities in a structured, guided way, and to discover what happens when you become less identified with the person you learned to be and have more freedom to experience the person you actually are.
