ANGELA HARRISON

about me

Come back to yourself.

That’s the heart of everything I offer. Life has a way of pulling us away from ourselves - we adapt, we cope, we become who others need us to be. We learn to mistrust our feelings, second-guess our choices and disappear into relationships, or responsibilities until we forget who we truly are. My work is about helping you find your way back.

MY PATH

My journey into this work began long before it became my profession. I grew up with conflict and, as a young adult, carried much of that conflict within me. Though outwardly my life looked incredibly successful, inwardly I felt like a fraud. I was working internationally with Philips Healthcare, travelling all over the world, moving up through promotions and doing really well, but underneath all of that I found it hard to trust myself and others, and the pain of the past shaped far more of my reactions than I realised at the time. It was messy.

Then, in 2000, a profound mystical experience opened me to a very different understanding of life, consciousness and our place within something far greater than a personal story. It was truly extraordinary, like night to day, and it changed the direction of my life completely.

Around that time, I began spending time at the OSHO International Meditation Resort in Pune, India. After leaving the corporate world, I lived there for long while and immersed myself in meditation, therapy and experiential group work, and I’ve returned regularly to work there ever since. A huge amount of the foundation for how I work today came through Osho and from those years. Not just from what I studied, but from actually living it, practising it, working with people and seeing what happened when awareness became part of everyday life rather than something you did for an hour and then forgot about.

That said, my spiritual awakening didn’t erase my patterns and, if anything, it exposed how much insecurity within me still needed to be met, accepted and healed. The years that followed were really about learning how to hold both: the pain of the past and the immense light that I had found within. And over time, learning how to bring the extraordinary back into the ordinary. Into the body, into relationship, into grief, conflict and everyday life.

My journey is the reason I know this work works. It’s not a quick fix, but through sincere intention, a willingness to look inward and the courage to remain present with whatever we find, real change can happen. My story isn’t the same as yours - I share it only because I know that a life shaped by pain doesn’t have to be defined by it. What once feels like being broken can, over time, become depth, wisdom, compassion and a greater capacity to trust and to love than you can imagine.

THE WORK

I’ve spent over twenty-five years working with people in spaces where emotions run deep and change happens slowly and honestly. My work includes trauma-work, meditative therapy, breath-work, energy-work, primal therapy, family constellation, conscious relationship, and shamanic healing.

These methods may seem like very different approaches, but they all begin in the same place: becoming quiet enough to notice what is actually happening within you - not what you think is happening. All are doorways to the same destination - coming home to yourself.

Your body knows what your emotions are revealing, what lies beneath the reaction, what part of you is saying yes, what part is saying no, and what each may be trying to protect - this is the inward journey that takes you ever closer to who you really are, to the immense Being that you are, at your core. I am less interested in helping you become a better version of yourself than I am in supporting you to be the person you already are.

For me, the work is about the growing capacity to meet whatever arises without losing yourself. When an experience is felt, accepted and welcomed rather than judged or pushed away, something begins to change. Choice returns. And change only becomes real when it enters ordinary life: the difficult conversation, the emotional trigger, the moment you need to stand up for yourself, the point when what you want and self-respect seem to pull in different directions. It happens when you can respond from who you are now rather than from what happened in the past.

WORKING WITH ME

This is not surface-level work, and it is always held with presence, integrity, and love.

I’m warm, honest and have deep respect for your autonomy. I will not tell you what your truth should be nor make myself the authority over your experience. My role is not to give you answers, but to help you hear your own answers and find laughter along the way. I support you in becoming a safe place for yourself. To say yes to yourself, including the parts that say no. To trust what you feel without being ruled by it. To communicate more honestly, to love with more joy, and make choices that genuinely belong to you.

Coming back to yourself gives you your life back.

Love, Angelq
